Description
The Biophysics group at the Department of Theoretical Physics at Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana is seeking a POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE who will pursue their independent research projects in the broad field of theoretical biophysics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Matej Krajnc on topics related to mechanics of biological tissues and their tumors or with other senior researchers within the group (https://web-f1.ijs.si/research/biophysics/).
Requirements
- PhD in physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or a related area
- proven track record of publications
- strong interest in soft condensed matter and/or biophysics
- good communication and organizational skills as well as the ability and interest to pursue challenging research
- prior skills with computer simulations are welcome, but not required.
