Post-Doctoral Research Positions: The Department of Chemical Science and Technologies at the University of Rome Tor Vergata is seeking motivated PhD and Post-Doctoral candidates to join our research team, funded by the European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant, CO-TRANS-NET (cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101165168). Under the supervision of Dr. Simona Ranallo, the project aims to develop programmable transcriptional networks for advanced cancer diagnostics and theranostics.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD Candidates:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Prior wet-lab experience is required, with preferential knowledge in DNA nanotechnology, chemistry, bioengineering, or molecular biology.
- Post-Doctoral Candidates:
- PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Strong experience in DNA nanotechnology, chemistry, bioengineering, or molecular biology is advantageous.
Job Description:
The successful candidates will work on cutting-edge projects focused on developing transcriptional networks that can detect and respond to tumor biomarkers, triggering in-vitro transcription of functional RNA outputs for diagnostics and therapeutic applications. Benefits of the position include:

Position Details:
- For PhD Candidates: 3-year program in the PhD School of Chemical Science with various skill-building courses.
