Postdoc Position-Measurement of multi-boson final state cross-sections and polarisation in the CMS experiment-University of Torino-Italy

Description

The grant project focuses on the search for final states of vector-boson scattering and tribosons containing a ZZ pair, using data from the CMS experiment at CERN. In particular for the scattering of vector bosons, the analysis will be updated to the most recent dataset of the CMS experiment (Run3) and new observables beyond the cross section measurement will be introduced, in particular the high-mass distributions to constrain the SMEFT theory and the polarization-sensitive angular variables of the Z bosons.
