Description
We are seeking motivated researchers with expertise in large-area 2D materials growth for sensor and transistor applications. The focus is on developing wafer-scale 2D materials using CVD, PLD, Sputtering or MOCVD systems for microelectronics and emerging sensor technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize wafer-scale 2D materials, including TMDCs, MXenes, and MOFs, for microelectronics applications.
- Improve material quality by reducing defects and enhancing large-area uniformity and continuity.
- Perform detailed structural, chemical, and electrical characterizations using XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman spectroscopy, and PPMS.
- Use cleanroom nanofabrication processes to build 2D-material-based electronic devices.
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments.
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
Skills/Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physical Science, or a related field with a focus on 2D materials growth and devices.
- Strong experience in growing 2D materials and fabricating devices. Experience with PLD, CVD, MBE, MOCVD, Sputtering and ALD with be a big surplus.
- Proficiency in advanced characterization techniques (XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman spectroscopy, microprobe station) and cleanroom nanofabrication processes.
- Proven ability to design experiments, analyze data, and interpret results effectively.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
