Description
We are seeking a highly motivated early/junior researcher to join the BBT research group within the Indústria del Coneixement project, D-SHAPES. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing an ongoing DLP (Digital Light Processing) 3D printing project focused on innovative biomedical applications, with high entrepreneurial requirements.
Tasks
This position involves conducting cutting-edge research in DLP 3D printing, contributing to material development and process optimization, and support entrepreneurial to tasks, helping to bridge research findings with potential commercialization opportunities.
The main subtasks planned consist of:
- Project coordination and management, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and milestones.
- Plan and follow up on in vivo studies, ensuring proper execution and data collection.
- Characterize key outcomes from histological samples, performing thorough analysis to validate biomedical applications.
- Material characterization, evaluating mechanical, chemical, and biological properties of 3D-printed constructs.
- Assist in reporting, documentation, and dissemination of research findings.
Skills/Qualifications
Degree in Materials, Biomedical, Chemical, Physics or Mechanical engineering, or similar
Highly motivated in 3D printing, biomaterials, and innovative research.
Interest in entrepreneurship and technology transfer.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Highly valued:
- Hands-on experience with DLP 3D printing technologies and material characterization techniques.
- Strong knowledge of histological analysis and in vivo experimental methodologies.
- Experience in project management and coordination is highly valued.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
